· You the purchaser agree and understand you are not authorized to use or install any device purchased from DigitalCableFilters.com on any cable company’s equipment or service without the cable company’s expressed permission and/or authorization.
· You the purchaser, are required by law to contact your cable service provider and obtained expressed permission or authorization to use and or install any device to any cable company’s or provider’s equipment.
· The purchaser swears or affirms under oath here that he/she has researched the applicable laws peculiar to their Country, State, Local Government, and/or Providence and has notified their cable company and obtained the cable company’s or service provider’s expressed written consent prior to the purchase of any product or service from Digital Cable Filters. And the purchaser does agree not to hold the seller responsible for the use or resale of any device, knowledge or service obtained from Digital Cable Filters. You also agree to notify Digital Cable Filters and not hold Digital Cable Filters liable for any legal expenses or damages you may incur due to illegal or improper use or installation of said same.
· The purchaser understands that the theft of cable services is a criminal or civil, Federal and/or State offense and can carry severe penalties.
· The purchaser agrees to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the 1996 Cable Act.
· The purchaser acknowledges Digital Cable Filters has made them aware of Title 47 of the United States Code 553 (a)(1) states that: "No person shall intercept or receive or assist in intercepting or receiving any communications service offered over a cable system, unless specifically authorized to do so by a cable operator or as may otherwise be specifically authorized by law."
· You swear or affirm under penalty of perjury you are an authorized/licensed repair technician and/or facility that are authorized to do said repair to cable converter boxes.
· You the purchaser agree not to use any equipment purchased on Time Warner, Media One, Cablevision, TCI, or Comcast cable system.
· You the purchaser agree that you are not purchasing equipment for the use or resale inside the state of New York, Delaware, Virginia or North Carolina.
· The purchaser agree not to purchase, resale, advertise or distribute any device, service, or knowledge obtained from Digital Cable Filters to anyone with knowledge or suspect of the intent and/or purpose of, or aiding in any, theft of cable television services.
· The purchaser understands the high band pass filter is meant for testing the functionality of digital pay per view services and is designed to prevent the technician from being charged/billed.
· The purchaser hereby declares, swears, and/or affirms under penalty of the Law that the purchaser is not purchasing any product, service, or knowledge from Digital Cable Filters for any Cable Company, State Law Enforcement, Federal Law Enforcement, or Postal Inspector or a representative, affiliate, or employee of or for any aforementioned entity.
· If you have to call in to order your pay per views then this will not work for you. You must be able to order them through your remote! Once the filter is installed on your box DO NOT REMOVE IT without resetting the box first! It may result in charges! This is not a descrambler and will not descramble channels. This is to insure your privacy only. It is your responsibility to contact your cable company and notify them of the pay per views you watch since they will never know. You must abide by all state and federal laws regarding the use of this item. We the seller, are in absolutely no way responsible for any misuse of this item by you, the purchaser. The seller of this equipment assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for claims arising from the use or the resale of this equipment.
